Semana Santa - madness in Malaga

The noise of parades finally lured us out to the chaotic streets – we got trapped amongst the huge crowds watching the amazing procession. An enormous religious float carried by hundreds of men led by brass bands and people dressed in long shiny robes and pointy hats – white, gold, maroon and black. Somehow we managed to get back to our hostal where we had a bird’s eye view from a balcony. The procession went on for hours and hours. The guys carrying the float didn’t look that young and must have been exhausted despite many rests.

Rob got friendly with a few of the dozens of cops.

  1. There's no truth in the rumour I was drunk and disorderly!
