Limestone country - Montejaque

Last evening in Ronda celebrated with good paella.

This morning being naughty kiwis we ignored warning signs and climbed through the barbed wire barrier across our track.

Short, hot, scenic day through farms,

crossing rivers and of course a big climb to La Ermita de la Escarihuela.

Montejaque is a gorgeous town nestled under imposing limestone cliffs.

We are staying in a converted cortigo or farmhouse with a broken TV and a faulty fridge and a bit of a trek to town for food. But no matter, all is good!!
